Region : Originally from India to the Southern tip of Africa
Description :
The world's fastest land animal, a sleek cat with short light tan fur covered in dark chocolate coloured spots and white underparts and distinctive black 'tear drop' markings from the eyes.
Habitat :
open plains but near cover of trees, grass and bushveld
Weight
: max. 65 kg.
Height : 70-90 cm
Speed : max 112 km/h
Food :
Rodents, blesbok, impala, springbok, reedbuck, gazelle, duiker, oribi, kob, letchwe, zebra, warthog.
Habits : Diurnal lifestyle. Not active at night.
Young : Mating peak after rainy season. Maturity on 2 years. Gestation period 3 months. 
Predators :  Lion (who also appropriate cheetah kills),  eagles, jackals, hyenas, and vultures will kill and eat cheetah cubs.
