Description : Unlike the coat of other African antelope, their olive-yellow coat speckled with grey is stiff and brittle serving as a cushion to ward off the shocks of hitting rock walls as they jump.
Habitat
: Living on rocky outcrops and on mountain sides
Weight
: max. 10  kg.
Height : 50 cm
Horns : short pointy horns.
Food : They browse on herbs and shrubs and drink water when it is available but can draw enough water from their food.
Habits
: They bounce on the tips of their rubbery hooves as they walk, making their very long legs look even longer.
Young : Calving mainly in the rainy season. Maturity on 4/5 months. Gestation period 6/7 months.
Predators : Leopards, Hyena, Lion, Caracal, Jackal, Cheetah, wild dogs. Eagles and snakes prey on young.
